Location: Tulsa, OK

Facility: Ascension St. John Medical Center

Department: Pharmacy Service

Schedule: Full Time, 7-on 7-off, 11:30am-11pm, Wednesday-Tuesday

Sign-on Bonus: Up to $10,000

Relocation: Relocation assistance may be available

How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Ensure Patient Safety: Review medication orders to catch and prevent drug-related issues, ensuring patients receive the correct medication, dosage, and administration.
  • Manage Pharmacy Operations: Supervise technicians to maintain an accurate and efficient workflow for preparing, storing, and dispensing medications.
  • Control Costs: Recommend less expensive, but equally effective, formulary alternatives to help the hospital manage medication expenses.
  • Educate and Inform: Serve as the drug information expert and provide education to medical staff and patients, sometimes mentoring pharmacy students.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Licensed Pharmacist credentialed from the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.


Education:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.

What additional preferences we're seeking

  • 2+ years hospital pharmacy experience preferred
