How you'll make an impact in this role- Evaluate and optimize medication orders to identify and resolve potential drug-related risks before they reach the patient.
- Direct the accurate compounding and dispensing of medications to ensure every patient receives the precise treatment their recovery requires.
- Lead clinical consultations with physicians and nursing staff to provide evidence-based drug information and recommend the most effective therapy alternatives.
- Mentor pharmacy technicians and students, providing the oversight and education necessary to maintain a high-performing, safety-focused pharmacy team.
- Counsel patients on their medication journeys, empowering them with the knowledge to manage their health effectively and safely after discharge.
What minimum requirements you'll needLicensure / Certification / Registration:
- Pharmacist credentialed from the Indiana Board Of Pharmacy obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.
