NHSC Loan Repayment OpportunityAlluvion Health is a Federally Qualified Health Center and may qualify as an eligible site for National Health Service Corps loan repayment programs. Eligible pharmacists may qualify for up to
$50,000 in student loan repayment assistance through NHSC in exchange for a two-year service commitment, depending on program requirements, individual eligibility, site approval, funding availability, and application approval.

Alluvion Health is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented
Registered Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team. This position plays an important role in providing safe, accurate, and patient-centered pharmacy services within our Federally Qualified Health Center. The Registered Pharmacist supports medication accuracy, patient education, pharmacy compliance, and Alluvion Health's integrated care model.
Position SummaryThe Registered Pharmacist is responsible for providing safe, accurate, and effective pharmacy services, including prescription verification, dispensing, patient counseling, medication therapy management, and clinical support. This position ensures compliance with professional standards, federal and state pharmacy laws, 340B program requirements, and Alluvion Health policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Registered Pharmacist will:
- Verify, prepare, and dispense prescriptions accurately and in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards.
- Counsel patients on proper medication use, side effects, adherence, interactions, and safety concerns.
- Perform drug utilization reviews and identify potential medication interactions, dosing concerns, allergies, or contraindications.
- Provide clinical recommendations and medication-related support to primary care providers and other members of the care team.
- Serve as the 340B Program Coordinator and support ongoing compliance with applicable federal regulations and program requirements.
- Order, receive, and maintain pharmaceutical inventory, including controlled substances.
- Maintain accurate documentation of medication-related information in the electronic health record and pharmacy systems.
- Supervise, support, and provide direction to pharmacy technicians and pharmacy support staff.
- Participate in quality improvement, safety, compliance, and patient care initiatives.
- Support patient-centered care through collaboration with medical, behavioral health, dental, and pharmacy team members.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and all applicable privacy and security requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications- Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a registered pharmacist in health system, retail, or community health practice.
- Current and active Montana Pharmacist License (required).
- Valid Montana Driver's License (required).
- Strong working knowledge of federal and state pharmacy laws, including 340B program compliance.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
Work Environment- Full-time position, typically 40 hours per week.
- Primarily works in an indoor, climate-controlled pharmacy setting.
- Requires frequent standing, walking, reaching, and use of computer systems.
- May occasionally require lifting or carrying up to 40 pounds.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with patients, employees, providers, and external partners.
