The PhantomStrike Portfolio is seeking an accomplished Associate Director with strong program management experience to lead the strategic growth and capture of multiple international and domestic pursuits. Reporting directly to the PhantomStrike Portfolio Director within the Advanced Products and Solutions (APS) business, this role will drive capture initiatives that advance the long-term growth strategy for the PhantomStrike franchise. You will collaborate closely with Requirements & Capabilities (R&C) to shape customer needs and priorities, while leading a multi-functional team through complex international and competitive proposal efforts. This position is accountable for achieving both near-term and long-range business development objectives.
In addition, you will oversee the planning and execution of PhantomStrike demonstration activities, serving as the project manager responsible for cost and schedule performance. You will provide leadership and direction across design, build, integration, and test activities to ensure successful program execution. Success in this position requires proven ability to lead highly technical teams and to clearly communicate program goals, objectives, key decisions, and results to team members, customers, and senior leadership.
What You Will Do
- Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules, develop controls and reports that accurately measure progress, identify potential problems in time for corrective action to be taken, and ensure the timely delivery of contractual commitments.
- Establish and maintain key program metrics, define program milestones/critical path/tactical direction and performance to program budgets and schedules.
- Communicate with external parties including customers and suppliers
- Negotiate and influence potential customers for purposes of growth.
- Travel domestically and internationally periodically per the demands of the capture strategy.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor27s degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 10 years27 experience
- Experience with Earned Value Management Systems
- Experience with Foreign Military Sales, Direct Commercial Sales, and/or export authorizations
- Experience managing risk, cost, and schedule
- Experience leading within a highly matrixed organization to include finance, contracts, engineering, supply chain, and/or other functions
- Experience in development and/or capture programs
- Experience with proposal generation activities
Qualifications We Prefer
- Program Management Level 4 Certification or ability to achieve within 1 year
- Experience in any of the following: competitive analysis, customer analysis, win strategy development, color teams, gates and/or price-to-win analysis
- Experience communicating complex technical knowledge to the community outside of Raytheon to include customers and suppliers
- Experience building teams in a matrixed organization
- Experience in strategic planning, with the ability to analyze and evaluate missions, requirements, technologies, and capabilities
- Experience partnering in matrixed organizations such as finance, contracts, engineering, and supply chain
- Experience developing and presenting Strategic Plans, AOP, Technology Roadmaps, and planning to senior management, and responsibility for executing approved plans
- Active Secret security clearance

The salary range for this role is 172,900 USD - 328,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate27s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
