Position Specific Description

The maintenance specialist will be a Subject mattery expert in inverter and battery technology in the region regarding to operations, maintenance, and equipment reliability. The ideal candidate will have OEM experience on inverter or battery technology. The maintenance specialist will work directly with the regional manager, regional reliability engineer, and field team in executing the daily work management process as well as enhancing the maintenance program. Specific focus will be work management process owner, special projects coordinator - regionally, materials management for critical major components, contractor coordination, RCA facilitation, change management owner - regionally, and trainer to technology specific opportunities for the field team. The maintenance specialist will be involved in the daily work management process and continuous improvement process including identifying and executing replication opportunities. This will all include the below:

-Ensuring standardization of best practices throughout all regional teams for maintenance process and procedures.

-Coaching of technician leaders in the execution of Production Processes ensuring all regional teams follow the defined processes and procedures in the Operational Model.

-Collaborate with local site leadership/process owners on the following processes:
  • Asset management - SME on OEM specific user interfaces &Ensuring equipment parameters are correct throughout the region
  • Material management - Critical inventory sourcing & tracking
  • Technical training development (mechanical, electrical..) support in conjunction with the regional manager and tech leader - OJT/JPM LMS & Equipment specific training scheduling + tracking
  • Temporary Operating Instructions (TOI & TMOD)
  • Root cause analysis - Support Regional Engineer with quality projects

The regional O&M specialist will be the owner of the following processes:
  • Work management meeting owner (maintaining Maximo work orders for the region)
  • Regional preventative maintenance
  • Procedure creation and adherence
  • Scheduling/tracking of regional training requirements
  • Site level coordination of major projects such as augmentation and retrofits.
  • Works with site(s) leadership, OEM and engineering to ensure successful completion of projects


Job Overview

Employees in this role direct a team of production and maintenance technicians and contractors in plant maintenance activities. Individuals in this position lead internal and external resources to Deliver Certainty, executing plant maintenance to achieve short and long term site goals and objectives in safety, environmental, compliance, reliability, availability and cost management.

The estimated base pay for this position is $81,600.00 to $122,400.00 per year. Starting pay will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, job-related and industry knowledge and skills and education/training.
