Job Brief

We're partnering confidentially with a founder-led organization seeking an exceptional Chief of Staff to serve as the CEO's closest strategic and operational partner.

This is a rare opportunity to operate at the center of a growing business, working directly with a visionary Founder while helping transform ideas into execution. You'll manage priorities, drive strategic initiatives, oversee executive operations, and ensure the CEO remains focused on the highest-impact opportunities across the organization.

This is not an administrative support role.

It's a high-trust leadership position for someone who enjoys bringing clarity to complexity, creating structure in fast-moving environments, and serving as both a strategic thought partner and an operational force multiplier.

You'll work closely with executive leadership, investors, advisors, and external partners while helping build the operating systems that enable the organization to scale.

The Role

As Chief of Staff, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the Founder Office while serving as an extension of the CEO across strategic planning, executive operations, communications, and organizational execution.

You'll own executive priorities from planning through execution, ensuring important decisions become measurable outcomes while maintaining alignment across internal and external stakeholders.

Success in this role requires exceptional judgment, intellectual curiosity, operational excellence, emotional intelligence, and an unwavering commitment to execution.

What You'll Do

Serve as the CEO's strategic partner by increasing executive capacity, organizational alignment, and operational effectiveness.
  • Manage the CEO's highly complex calendar, priorities, and strategic time allocation
  • Oversee executive communications, inbox management, and stakeholder follow-up
  • Prepare meeting agendas, briefing materials, executive summaries, and decision memos
  • Coordinate high-priority meetings and ensure accountability on follow-up actions
  • Lead domestic and international travel planning, logistics, and executive itineraries
  • Accompany the CEO on select business travel, conferences, investor meetings, and strategic engagements
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives and ensure execution across multiple stakeholders
  • Build scalable operating systems, workflows, and organizational processes
  • Conduct research, prepare analyses, and synthesize information for executive decision-making
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the CEO and executives, investors, advisors, partners, physicians, and external stakeholders
  • Anticipate challenges before they arise and proactively remove obstacles to execution
  • Maintain absolute discretion while handling highly confidential information

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience as a Chief of Staff, Founder Office professional, Executive Business Partner, Strategic Operations, Business Operations, or similar role
OR
  • 2-4+ years in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or family office environments followed by operating experience

  • Strong executive operations experience, including complex calendars, communications, travel, and stakeholder management
  • Proven project management experience leading initiatives from concept through execution
  • Advanced proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Asana, or similar productivity platforms
  • Daily working knowledge of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, or similar technologies
  • Exceptional judgment, professionalism, and discretion when handling confidential matters
  • Must reside in the Los Angeles area or be willing to relocate before employment
  • Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

Preferred Experience
  • Previous Chief of Staff experience supporting a Founder, entrepreneur, investor, or family office principal
  • Experience supporting highly driven founders requiring executive-function support and operational structure
  • Background in founder-led, venture-backed, private equity-backed, or other high-growth organizations
