Are you interested in being on the cutting edge of regulatory compliance? Are you passionate about research and subject-matter expertise in a professional services environment? Work you'll do

As a Personal Consultation Senior Analyst, you'll use your analytical, research and investigative skills to:
  • Work closely with ICN Managers, Partners and Managing Directors and engagement Responsible Parties to assist audit engagement teams and Deloitte US professionals with compliance of regulatory independence rules/standards and Deloitte independence policies.
  • Document independence analysis and conclusions to ensure that conclusions are supported with factual information relevant to each independence consultation.
  • Develop an enhanced understanding of SEC and PCAOB Rules and Deloitte Independence policies.
  • Perform research and analysis on various types of financial relationships and employment relationships.
  • Prepare independence materials for use in internal meetings and trainings.
  • Participate in virtual and in-person training sessions.
  • Offer suggestions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of certain processes.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelors' degree (preferably accounting, finance or business)
  • Minimum 3+ years of related experience
  • Knowledge of financial instruments, such as equities, fixed income, brokerage accounts, etc.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
  • Ability to travel 0-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred:
  • An understanding of Independence requirements for professional auditing firms
  • Experience working in a large corporation or accounting firm
  • Strong oral and written communications
  • Outstanding attention to detail along with strong technical. organizational and analysis skills
  • Demonstrate initiative and good judgment
  • Work independently, and as part of a team, in a dynamic work environment
