An established civil engineering and surveying consulting firm with multiple offices across western Pennsylvania is seeking a
Permitting Supervisor to support ongoing growth. This position plays a key role in managing environmental permitting processes for a wide variety of projects, including public infrastructure, community development, and private land development.
Qualifications: - 10+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of NPDES and EPA permitting for residential developments (PA required, OH a plus)
- Familiarity with PADEP Chapter 102 and 105, and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Section 404 permitting
- Surface mining permitting experience is a plus
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment
Responsibilities: - Manage permitting tasks for site/land development, municipal, and environmental projects
- Oversee permit preparation and submission in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Collaborate with engineers, planners, and external stakeholders to ensure project success
- Stay current on regulatory updates affecting permitting processes
