Full Job Description
The Role

We're looking for a Performance Marketing Manager to turn our paid acquisition program into a reliable, scaled growth engine. Paid is already one of our fastest-growing ways of reaching new families, and it's set for serious growth starting this Q4 and carrying into 2027 and beyond. The machine is built and it has real momentum-your job is to take what's working and make it a whole lot bigger.

This is a hands-on seat. You'll be in the accounts, in the data, and in the creative reviews-not steering from a dashboard three layers up.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own paid social on Meta. Optimize it continuously, using performance data to guide targeting, budget, and creative decisions-and stay ahead of whatever the platform changes next.
  • Keep the creative pipeline full. Partner with our in-house influencer team and external partners so there's always a steady stream of ads flowing through the account that perform and look like us.
  • Push beyond Meta. Test new platforms, scale the ones that earn their place, and build a diversified engine that doesn't wobble when one channel does.
  • Build the dashboards you need (if they don't already exist, which they probably do) to catch what's working, and what isn't, in near real time with the support of an analytics team and tooling that make this genuinely painless.
  • Own budget planning and pacing across channels, allocating spend against performance and growth targets.
  • Partner with Brand to amplify bigger campaigns and moments through paid, in lockstep with organic, influencer, lifecycle, and PR.
What We're Looking For
  • 4-6+ years in performance marketing, with deep hands-on fluency in paid social as your primary domain-and a reaction to new channels that's closer to "ooh" than "ugh."
  • End-to-end ownership. You've run a paid acquisition program yourself, strategy through execution.
  • Data and creative, both. You back every decision with the numbers, and you just know a good ad when you see one.
  • An eye for brand. This is a performance role first, but you're also protecting our tone and look as things move fast-catching what's off-brand before it goes live.
  • Low-ego and collaborative. This seat is highly cross-functional. You push for what you need while being respectful of everyone else's time and priorities.
What You'll Have to Work With
  • Budget: The budget limit does not exist. If the CAC math works, we'll keep pouring fuel on the fire.
  • Data & Analytics: You won't have to fight for data. Between Hex and our existing dashboards, there's no ask too small and no chart too complicated to stand up-fast.
  • Creative: If the current pipeline can't keep pace with what paid needs, you have the standing to ask for more-and get it.
  • Growth: Grow the paid engine and the next step is building and leading a team of your own. This starts as a seat where you're doing the work yourself, with real room to grow beyond it.

If you're ready to build the engine that introduces Tin Can to the next hundred thousand families, we'd love to hear from you. Reach out with your resume and a short note on the paid program you're proudest of-what you inherited, what you changed, and what it looks like now.
