PeopleSoft Finance Techno-Functional Specialist to support, enhance, and modernize our PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) environment. This role combines functional expertise with technical development, providing leadership in system support, upgrades, automation, and enterprise application development. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of PeopleSoft Finance, strong technical development skills, and an interest in leveraging AI and automation to improve business processes.
Responsibilities- Support and maintain the PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) environment.
- Manage daily financial batch processing and support month-end and year-end close activities for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger.
- Troubleshoot application issues, batch failures, and user incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing long-term solutions.
- Partner with business users, infrastructure teams, vendors, and external partners to resolve production issues.
- Lead PeopleTools and PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) upgrades, including retrofit analysis, testing, and deployment of customizations.
- Develop and execute testing strategies, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and ensure successful implementation of system enhancements.
- Design, develop, and maintain PeopleSoft customizations using PeopleTools technologies, including Application Engine, PeopleCode, Component Interface, and Approval Workflow Engine (AWE).
- Configure and support PeopleSoft Finance modules, approval workflows, and integrations with internal and external systems.
- Develop reports and reporting solutions using PeopleSoft Query, SQR, BI Publisher, and nVision.
- Design and implement integrations using web services and APIs.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through AI, automation, and modern reporting solutions, including AI agents and intelligent workflow automation.
- Create functional and technical design documentation and support ongoing application lifecycle management.
RequirementsRequired Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- 8+ years of experience supporting, developing, and upgrading PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) applications.
- Strong functional knowledge of PeopleSoft Financial modules, including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Management (AM)
- Project Costing (PC)
- Experience supporting Supply Chain modules, including Purchasing, eProcurement, Purchase Orders, and Billing.
- Experience managing financial batch processing, month-end and year-end close activities, and enterprise interfaces with banking, HR, and supply chain systems.
- Experience gathering business requirements, conducting fit-gap analysis, and documenting business processes.
- Strong PeopleTools development experience, including:
- PeopleCode
- Application Engine
- Component Interface
- Approval Workflow Engine (AWE)
- Experience developing reports using PeopleSoft Query, SQR, BI Publisher, and nVision.
- Experience developing and supporting web services and API integrations.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across business and technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) and PeopleTools upgrade projects.
- Experience implementing automated testing frameworks and deployment processes.
- Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, or intelligent automation solutions.
- Experience developing AI-powered reporting, workflow automation, or enterprise productivity solutions.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

Pay TransparencyWhere required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $88,200-$183,750. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
