Full Job Description
About this role

The People Systems Coordinator plays a key role in keeping our People systems and operations running smoothly as we scale. You'll own the day-to-day administration of our core HR tools - primarily Workday and our workflow automation platform - ensuring employee data is accurate, workflows function reliably, and systems continuously improve.

This role sits at the intersection of People Operations and systems. Much of your work will happen behind the scenes, directly within our tools - managing updates, resolving issues, and maintaining the integrity of our data and processes. You'll be trusted to independently handle core transactions, investigate when something doesn't look right, and ensure our systems are working as intended.

Over time, you'll have the opportunity to improve how we operate by identifying gaps, strengthening processes, and expanding automation across our People tech stack. If you enjoy working in systems, solving problems, and creating more efficient ways of operating, this role offers a strong path to deepen your impact.
What you'll do
  • Own day-to-day administration of core HR systems like Workday and AI HR Ops tools
  • Execute system updates and employee transactions with a high level of accuracy
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that can't be handled through existing workflows
  • Identify and fix data issues, access problems, and broken processes
  • Keep HR systems and workflows running smoothly and up to date
  • Respond to People Ops tickets and support employees with system-related questions
  • Maintain clear documentation and address recurring issues at the root cause
  • Continuously improve processes and expand automation to help the team scale
Qualifications

Required
  • 1-2 years of experience in an HRIS, People Ops, or HR Coordinator role
  • Genuine appetite for learning and owning HR tech platforms - not just using them
  • Strong data hygiene habits: consistent accuracy when touching employee records and system configurations
  • Track record of improving processes and documenting them clearly
  • Clear written and verbal communication; able to make complex processes simple for non-technical audiences

Nice to have
  • Hands-on Workday experience: EIBs, report writing, field configuration
  • Experience administering low-code HR workflow or ticketing tools (e.g. ServiceNow, or similar)
  • Experience managing vendors or coordinating platform updates

Salary Range

San Francisco: the pay range for this role is $41.60 to $57.20 per hour.

This role will also be eligible for equity and benefits. Actual base pay will be determined based on permissible factors such as transferable skills, work experience, market demands, and primary work location. The base pay range provided is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Hybrid Faire employees currently go into the office 3 days per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and a third flex day of their choosing (Monday, Wednesday, or Friday). Additionally, hybrid in-office roles will have the flexibility to work remotely up to 4 weeks per year. Specific Workplace and Information Technology positions may require onsite attendance 5 days per week as will be indicated in the job posting.
