Responsibilities

  • Own the employee experience from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring team member support
  • Build and manage a structured onboarding program with regular check-ins for new hires
  • Create a proactive retention-focused rhythm to enhance employee experience
  • Serve as the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for core people operations workflows
  • Partner with leadership to refine people processes and support employee engagement
  • Support international expansion and manage immigration policies effectively
  • Drive engagement by following through on employee feedback and planning team culture initiatives
  • Establish systems early to ensure effective processes without over-complicating them
  • Utilize modern tools and AI to automate routine tasks and focus on impactful interactions

Full Job Description
What you'll work on here
  • Owning the employee experience from onboarding through offboarding, ensuring every team member feels supported, connected, and set up for success.
  • Building a structured onboarding program with regular touchpoints for both new hires and managers throughout the first week, first month, and first 90 days.
  • Creating a retention-focused operating rhythm across the company, proactively identifying opportunities to improve employee experience before issues arise.
  • Serving as the DRI for many of our core people operations workflows, including payroll support, benefits administration, reimbursements, leave tracking, policy management, equity administration, and employee records.
  • Partnering directly with leadership to improve people processes, support employees through key moments, and help the company scale thoughtfully.
  • Playing a meaningful role in our expansion to additional offices, supporting international colleagues, and figuring out immigration policies
  • Driving follow-through on employee feedback, and planning offsites, team outings, and other initiatives that strengthen culture.
  • Building systems before we need them, creating the right amount of structure without introducing unnecessary process.
  • Using modern tooling and AI to automate repetitive work and spend more time on high-impact employee interactions.
  • Embodying our culture throughout every interaction you have, whether with employees, candidates, vendors, or other stakeholders.


What you bring to the table
  • 2-5+ years of experience in People Operations or another highly operational role at a fast-growing company.
  • You genuinely care about people and are motivated by helping others do their best work.
  • You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and exceptionally reliable. When you own something, people stop worrying about it.
  • You balance empathy with operational rigor and can handle sensitive situations with sound judgment and discretion.
  • You have a strong bias toward action and enjoy turning ambiguity into clear, repeatable systems.
  • No task feels beneath you.
  • You thrive as a generalist and are excited to work across a wide range of responsibilities as the company grows. You're open to helping our talent team as well as required.
  • You know how to leverage AI tools and automation to eliminate repetitive operational work.


Bonus Points
  • You've helped build or scale People Operations at a Seed through Series C company.
  • You have experience supporting international employees and globally distributed teams.
  • You have hands-on experience with payroll, benefits, equity administration, or HR systems.
  • You've planned company offsites and large-scale employee events.
