Responsibilities

Position Summary

The People Business Partner will support the day-to-day people operations, benefits, and payroll needs of the North American employees. This role will focus heavily on assisting our front-line managers with employee performance, employee relations, and policy interpretation and management. The role will also be responsible for maintaining our HRIS, including front-end payroll processing, while also assisting our Sr Director of People with various special projects. The ideal candidate has a generalist background, with experience in performance management and employee relations in a remote setting.

Requirements
  • Must live in Eastern or Central time zones
  • Advises management team on matters of employee performance and disciplinary action.
  • Owns the performance review process for the global employee base.
  • Creation and implementation of People programs.
  • Assists in the development and facilitation of company-wide training and development initiatives.
  • Partners with PEO in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, administrating FMLA personal leaves of absence, workplace investigations, worker's compensation incidents, etc.
  • Facilitates and analyzes company surveys and advises leadership on trending data.
  • Owns employee changes in HRIS, including hiring, terminations, salary changes, promotions, etc.
  • Creation and management of company wide role and compensation structuring initiative.
  • Oversees compliance with company policy and practices, carrying out various annual audits.
  • Creates and ensure compliance with global employment laws and regulations.
  • Acts as an advisor to staff on matters of policy interpretation, benefits, leave of absence, and payroll.
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Annual Base Salary Range: $90,000-120,000

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communication, Business, or related field or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree is required
  • 5+ years of experience as a human resources generalist, with a strong preference for experience in a SaaS environment
  • Experience supporting a remote workforce in a multi-state company is required
