Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)
Team: People, North America
Reports to: Director, People North America

Role Overview:

The People Business Partner (PBP) plays a critical, strategic role in supporting RELEX employees and leaders across the Americas region of a European-headquartered People function. This position partners closely with functional leaders on topics such as employee relations, employee experience, organizational effectiveness, talent planning, and change management - ensuring People strategies are proactive, data-informed, and aligned with business goals.

What you'll be doing:
  • Strategic People Partnership
    • In alignment with global organizational processes, serve as a trusted advisor to North America business leaders on organizational design, employee engagement, leadership effectiveness, and People processes.
    • Partner with leadership to understand business goals and translate them into People plans.
    • Collaborate with the broader People team to ensure alignment with global People strategy.
  • Employee Relations & Employee Experience
    • Lead and support employee relations matters with empathy and fairness.
    • Conduct thorough case assessments and ensure timely resolution.
    • Drive employee experience initiatives, including engagement actions and culture-building.
  • Talent Planning & Organizational Effectiveness
    • Partner with global L&D and OD teams to effectively lead and support workforce planning, succession planning, and skills development.
    • Partner with Talent Acquisition and North America leaders on key talent selection.
    • Support North American leaders' global development discussions and performance review processes.
  • Change Management & Leadership Support
    • Guide leaders through organizational changes and restructures.
    • Provide communication support and coaching.
  • HR Analytics & HRIS Insights
    • Act as a role-model on the utilization of latest HRIS data and AI, incl. coaching managers on AI-augmented decision-making
    • Use HRIS data (such as Workday) to identify trends.
    • Measure impact of People programs and support leaders using dashboards and reports.
  • People Operations Support
    • Ensure consistent and compliant application of People policies.
    • Partner with local Operations, Payroll, and Benefits teams

What you'll bring to the table:
  • 7+ years of People Partner / HRBP or equivalent experience.
  • Expertise in employee relations and complex cases.
  • US market knowledge in employment legislation
  • Experience using HRIS data; Workday strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and operational flex in a lean and changing environment
