Full Job Description
This role reports to the Vice President of US Retirement & Savings (R&S) and is responsible for strategy execution, governance, and regulatory compliance for all (collectively bargained and non-collectively bargained) FCA US LLC defined benefit pension plans. This role provides oversight of plan governance structures, audits, internal controls, and regulatory requirements, and serves as a subject matter expert for ERISA, IRC, and all pension plan provisions.

Job Description:

  • Lead governance and compliance activities for all defined benefit pension plans.
  • Lead reporting and disclosure compliance.
  • Serve as liaison with ERISA counsel, auditors, and regulators.
  • Lead annual internal and external audits.
  • Own pension plan internal controls and remediation.
  • Ensure compliance with ERISA, IRC, and plan provisions.
  • Lead Employee Benefits Committee meeting material preparations.
  • Lead second-level ERISA appeals and hardship decisions.
  • Partner with Labor Relations to evaluate, model, and support pension related proposals during UAW bargaining.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 7 years pension governance/compliance experience
  • Strong ERISA/IRC knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Advanced analytical skills
  • Adept at Microsoft 365

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Labor Relations or related field.
  • Collectively bargained plan experience
  • Audit and internal controls experience
  • CEBS or ASPPA designation
