Job Summary
The Pega Lead Business Architect will act as a liaison between business users, stakeholders, and technologists. The role will lead multiple teams consisting of developers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements, process flows, use cases, and supporting integration documents into functional applications that meet user needs. The position will work closely with the Lead System Architect and leadership team to develop business and technical strategies and will be responsible for evaluating user needs and supporting the development and implementation of technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead multiple teams consisting of developers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders throughout software development and systems integration projects.
• Convert business requirements, process flows, use cases, and supporting integration documentation into functional application solutions.
• Act as a liaison between business users, stakeholders, and technologists.
• Work jointly with the Lead System Architect and leadership team to develop business and technical strategies.
• Gather, track, analyze, and communicate requirements to both technical and non-technical professionals.
• Develop and manage use cases and functional requirements throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Document requirements, test cases, training materials, and functional designs.
• Lead test execution and support solution validation.
• Support configuration and deployment of enterprise-level software solutions.
• Evaluate user needs and support the development and implementation of technology solutions.
• Participate in Agile software development activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
• 9+ years of relevant professional experience.
• 7+ years of experience in business analysis or a related area.
• 7+ years of experience in use case development.
• 3+ years of experience as a Pega Business Architect after certification.
• Pega Business Architect certification.
• 7+ years of experience managing software functional requirements throughout the SDLC.
• 7+ years of Agile software development experience.
• 7+ years of experience documenting requirements, test cases, training materials, and functional designs, as well as leading test execution.
• 7+ years of experience with configuration and deployment of software solutions at the enterprise level.
• 4+ years of strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship skills.
• Four-year college degree or equivalent technical study.
Preferred Qualifications
• Broad experience in an organization that develops and delivers software to customers.
