About the RoleThe HealthCare Connection is seeking a
Board-Certified Pediatrician to join our team and provide high-quality, accessible primary care to children and families in the communities we serve. The Pediatrician provides direct medical care to pediatric patients in a primary healthcare setting. Responsibilities include patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning and implementation, evaluation, and ongoing monitoring of each patient's overall care plan.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive primary and preventive pediatric care.
- Perform patient histories, physical examinations, assessments, and diagnoses.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Evaluate patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
- Monitor the overall management of assigned patients.
- Provide health education, preventive care, immunizations, and anticipatory guidance.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential medical records.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, behavioral health professionals, and other members of the care team.
- Provide culturally sensitive care to patients and families from diverse educational, socioeconomic, and ethnic backgrounds.
- Participate in shared pediatric call coverage.
Qualifications: - Medical degree.
- Board certification in Pediatrics.
- Completion of three years of pediatric residency training.
- Demonstrated clinical skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team across the organization.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information.
- Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with individuals from diverse educational, socioeconomic, and ethnic backgrounds.
Preferred:- One to three years of experience in an ambulatory care setting, community health center, FQHC, or similar practice environment.
