Full Job Description
Overview

Pediatrix has the opportunity for a full-time pediatrician to join our high-risk NICU follow-up clinic!

Responsibilities

Our pediatricians and nurse practitioners are experienced in caring for children from infancy through age 4 who may be at risk of developing special health care needs. As a high-risk NICU follow-up clinic, our practice collaborates with pediatricians and other community providers to facilitate optimal developmental support, early intervention, family support, and specialized care, while also offering additional support and education for parents and caregivers. These hospital-based outpatient clinics will be located at Methodist Children's Hospital, North Central Baptist Hospital and Christus Children's Hospital.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable seeing babies who have just come out of the NICU and require follow-up care.

Job Details:
  • Hospital-based outpatient clinic setting
  • Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm schedule
  • No weekends, no call
  • Manageable patient volume
  • Limited developmental testing
