Responsibilities

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a dynamic Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to join our collaborative newborn nursery team in Seattle, Washington. This is an outstanding opportunity to care exclusively for well newborns across two premier hospitals:Swedish First Hill and Overlake Medical Center. Practice in a lower-acuity setting alongside experienced Neonatologists and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners who are committed to clinical excellence, mentorship, and provider success.

Practice Highlights
  • Provide coverage at two renown hospitals:
    • Swedish First Hill:
      • Flagship location with approximately 7000 deliveries annually
      • ADC of 15-16 newborns
      • Work alongside experienced Neonatologists and NNPs with in-house coverage
    • Overlake Medical Center
      • ADC of 7-8 newborns
      • 24/7 in-house Neonatologist coverage
      • Collaborative, team-based newborn care environment
  • Focus exclusively on well-baby nursery care
  • No outpatient responsibilities

Exceptional work-life balance
  • Enjoy 10-hour shifts with the ability to cluster shifts together, creating greater schedule flexibility and extended time off

Benefits and Compensation

Starting Pay Range (Base Pay): $124,000-$154,000

Other Types of Pay: Ask about additional incentives and tuition reimbursement

Regular full-time is classified as team members who are consistently scheduled and work 30 hours or more on a weekly basis. Regular full-time team members are eligible for the following:

NOTE: Team members at least 21 years old and are active full-time or part-time employee are eligible to participate in our 401(k) Plan at the time of hire. Team members who meet the plan's minimum age requirement can enroll in the plan at any time, and contributions will begin as soon as administratively possible.

Team Members are eligible to begin participating in the ESPP if they have been employed by Pediatrix for two consecutive months prior to the start of each calendar quarterly offering period and are scheduled to work a minimum of 20 hours per week for five consecutive months during the year.

Paid Sick Leave:

Eligible full-time team members will receive a lump-sum grant of 70 hours or eight days, whichever is more beneficial to the team member, of paid sick leave each year on January 1. A newly hired full-time team member will receive a prorated lump-sum grant after working for 90 days. A lumpsum grant will then be provided on January 1 in each subsequent year as long as the team member remains eligible. Unused sick leave granted under this policy does not carry over from one year to the following year.

NOTE: The Company will not pay team members for unused sick leave upon termination of employment.
