The Divisions of Adolescent Medicine and Pediatric Psychiatry and Psychology are seeking a full-time clinical psychologist specializing in eating disorder diagnosis and treatment. The successful candidate will function as an integral part of an interdisciplinary team who deliver evidence-based diagnostic and treatment services to the children and families served by the Eating Disorders program in the Division of Adolescent Medicine.Our comprehensive treatment team includes: two board certified adolescent medicine physicians; a clinical psychologists; 2 certified dietitians; and a RN case manager.
This position offers opportunities for: collaboration with physicians, nurses and other health care professionals; supervision, teaching and training of graduate students and postdoctoral psychology fellows; teaching pediatric residents; and training child psychiatry fellows.Research and innovation opportunities are available through the Rebecca D. Considine Research Institute and partnerships with NEOMED and local universities.
Requirements:Ph. D. or Psy.D. in clinical psychology including completion of an internship in an APA-accredited psychology program.Applicants who have completed a post-doctoral fellowship in psychology and with hospital-based work experience are preferred.Experience in evaluation and treatment of adolescent eating disordered populations, treated by an eating disorders program strongly preferred, with special emphasis on individual, family, and group treatment.Must be license-eligible in the State of Ohio.
