Department: Inpatient Pediatric

Schedule: Rotating | Full-time

How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Assure patient safety and care quality by meticulously reviewing medication orders to identify, prevent, and resolve potential drug-related problems.
  • Optimize patient outcomes by collaborating with physicians to recommend appropriate formulary alternatives and providing expert drug information to the medical team.
  • Oversee and mentor pharmacy technical personnel in the preparation and accurate dispensing of medications, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Educate and counsel patients on their medication therapies, promoting effective and safe use for better health outcomes.
  • Facilitate seamless clinical operations by ensuring the appropriate selection, dosing, and dispensing of all medication orders.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Licensed Pharmacist credentialed from the Florida Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Valid state license required specific to the state in which the associate works.


Education:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.
