Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Opportunity in beautiful Western, NC - UNC Caldwell is the choice for health care in Caldwell County. The Emergency Department sees approximately 30,000 visits a year. Caldwell Physicians and UNC Health Medical Group provide the majority of primary care and select specialty care to our market from thirteen separate medical park locations and 137 bed hospital. Caldwell is seeking a Pediatric NP for a position in a traditional outpatient model with a team of experienced partners.

Practice Highlights:
- Collaborative team of 5 providers in a busy/mature practice!
- Patient Contact hours: 36 hours of patient care; 4 days of clinic / week - Primary Pediatric practice (newborn to 18 yrs of age). Well-child visits, Sick-child visits. Assist with intermittent Falls Peds Urgent Care coverage.
- Located next to a Pediatric Urgent Care, the only one in the region. It is located in an Upper Suite at The Falls Pediatrics, open seven days per week with a dedicated staff.

Education Requirements:• Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) in the state of North Carolina.
• Board certification if required by the Department. DEA.
Professional Experience Requirements:• No prior experience required.
