Full Job Description
The Department of Pediatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago seeks a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor for the Edwards Family Division of Genetics and Rare Diseases. Salary and academic rank are commensurate with experience. Current clinical practice programs include general genetics/dysmorphology, inborn errors of metabolism, neurofibromatosis, skeletal dysplasia, connective tissue disorders, and lysosomal storage disorders. The applicant is expected to contribute to the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows. Participating in these clinical programs will occur at the main hospital and/or outreach sites. Opportunities exist for participation in clinical research trials and the development of new clinical and training programs.

Qualified candidates will hold an M.D. or D.O., be board certified or board eligible in Clinical Genetics, and eligible for licensure in Illinois.

The start date is negotiable, and the position will remain open until filled.

The expected base pay range for this position is $220,000 - $233,560.

The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including years since terminal degree, training, and field or discipline; departmental budget availability; internal comparators; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
