Qualifications

• 2 years of general pediatric experience as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
• Successful completion of an accredited nurse practitioner or physician assistant program.
• Physician Assistants must have passed the NCCPA certification exam.
• Nurse Practitioners graduating after July 1, 2006, must be board certified.
• Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine or ability to obtain in Florida.
• Current, unrestricted DEA license or ability to obtain in Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide healthcare services to pediatric patients during scheduled visits.
• Utilize eClinical Works for patient record management.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient care.
• Participate in weekend shifts on a rotating basis.
• Ensure compliance with medical staff membership and privileges requirements.
