Position SummaryThe Biomechanist/Bioengineer provides oversight, management, and program development of the Research and Movement Laboratory (RML). You will support daily operations, lab oversight (create/maintain processing workflows, maintain/support software/hardware, create/maintain vendor contracts), research projects (project creation, grant applications, project execution), and program development (pursue program growth through new clientele, programs, etc.). You will work closely with leadership to develop strategic priorities and vision for the lab. This position requires a significant level of independent decision making, accuracy, and teamwork.
Responsibilities- Collects data on patients within the scope of service for the RML
- Ensures accurate, precise, and valid data collection
- Oversees equipment operation
- Provides clinical and technical support for professional staff, including mentoring and coaching pertaining to movement analyses and technologies
- Develops and grows RML programs
Requirements- Master's degree in Biomechanics or Kinesiology
- Doctorate degree preferred
- Five (5) years of prior experience preferred
- Motion analysis research experience preferred
- Experience with Visual3D and MatLab preferred

As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $88,691.20 - $127,649.60 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
