PCIT Therapist: Parttime OR Fulltime Candidates Welcome

Description

The ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, independent, communicative, enthusiastic, and direct. Candidates must hold an active Maryland license in a counseling field. Additional licenses in DC or VA would be cherries on top! Any MCCC team member must be affirming of all people and all families to be considered.

Reports to: Clinical Director

Responsibilities

Conduct therapy sessions within the scope of practice theoretical frameworks including but not limited to PCIT and other evidenced based behavioral modalities.

Provide thorough assessment and orient clients and families to the practice and scope of therapeutic work.

Maintain confidentiality of client records and keep files up to date with diligent and effectively written clinical notes.

Attend weekly staff meetings (we work together as a team!)

Consult with other members of a client's treatment team, regardless of if they are internal or external to the MCCC team.

Maintain supervision in accordance with licensure needs and/or maintain current licensure per state regulations. If licensed at the graduate level, complete supervision towards full clinical licensure in accordance with state regulations (Supervision is provided to you by MCCC's clinical director).

Engage in learning opportunities to further your knowledge of the field and your work, not only for licensure requirements, but because it is our value! (We often provide these opportunities!)

Maintain ethically based practice as outlined by your professions code of ethics.

LG Level Clinicians

Required weekly clinical supervision with clinical director throughout their employment with MCCC until they reach fully licensed status.

LC Level Clinicians

Newly hired LC level clinicians are required to meet with the clinical director at least monthly (more if desired) during their first 3 months of employment with MCCC. Supervision will continue at least monthly thereafter, or at the discretion of either the clinical director or preference of the clinician.

Salary

$92 - $170 per hour
