Qualifications

• Advanced skills in Cadence Allegro; familiar with CAM 350, OrCad or similar tools.
• Experience with mixed signal high-speed digital designs from 100MHz to 53GHz, including PAM4.
• Proficient in design rule checks (DRC), layout versus schematic checks, and library management.
• Knowledge of design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for test (DFT) principles.
• Experience with DDR2/DDR4/DDR5 DRAM and high-speed serial interfaces, including impedance management and matched trace lengths.
• Understanding of fabrication and assembly processes and materials.
• 4+ years of experience in PCB design, with comprehensive electronics knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design complex PCB layouts with 30+ layers and multiple high-density BGAs using Cadence Allegro.
• Build symbols, develop stackups, and manage pin swaps and netlist imports following Cadence front to back flow.
• Perform peer design checks and library symbol validations.
• Collaborate with electrical and mechanical design engineers to negotiate development changes.
• Interface with suppliers to resolve manufacturing challenges.
