Full Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Payroll Administration:
    • Oversee end-to-end payroll processes, including data entry, validation, and processing for employees in a unionized manufacturing environment.
    • Ensure timely and accurate payroll disbursements in compliance with legal and contractual requirements.
  2. UKG Suite Expertise:
    • Utilize and leverage the UKG suite of products to streamline payroll operations and enhance efficiency.
    • Stay updated on the latest features and functionalities of UKG products and implement them to improve payroll processes.
  3. Process Improvement:
    • Identify areas for process improvement in the payroll cycle and implement solutions to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and eliminate bottlenecks.
  4. Documentation Management:
    • Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of payroll processes, policies, and procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and keep documentation up-to-date.
  5. Union Relations:
    • Ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements as it relates to payroll related items.
  6. Compliance and Reporting:
    • Stay abreast of legislative changes and industry best practices related to payroll and ensure compliance.
    • Generate and analyze payroll reports for management and regulatory purposes.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Manager in a manufacturing environment with multiple unions.
  • Technical proficiency with the UKG Pro and Workforce Management (Dimensions) suite of products.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations in a unionized setting.
  • Process improvement and documentation expertise.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
