Full Job Description
The Payroll Manager ensures accurate payroll processing, compliance with tax, benefit, and deduction regulations, and maintains employee records. Responsible for recruiting, training, and developing staff while providing leadership and guidance on payroll-related matters. The role includes preparing reports, managing year-end processes, and addressing employee inquiries. This position fosters a positive work environment while ensuring operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Exciting Hiring Opportunity - Payroll Manager!
  • Competitive compensation package of minimum $84,000-$104,000

Benefits include:
  • Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks
  • Sick days: 5 days
  • Holidays: 12 days; 8 standard and 4 floating
  • Other standard benefits: 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental and vision, life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary long-term disability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reviews employee time records for accurate reporting and schedule compliance
  • Processes adjustments, bonuses, and other payments as needed
  • Prepares necessary reports for management and compliance purposes
  • Ensuresthat allbenefits, tax and other required deductions are properly implemented and processed
  • Manages the employee and payroll files
  • Manages the year end statement process, including revisions
  • Responds to employee and manager inquiries as required
  • Recruits, selects, develops, manages, motivates, coaches, and mentors assigned employees; provides guidance and direction on problems and issues; delegates work assignments considering employee skills and development needs.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all information
  • Other duties as required.

Physical Requirements:

The essential functions of this position require the ability to:
  • 100% of the job isaccomplished indoors and in airconditioned or well-ventilated facilities
  • Sit, type and look at a computer screenfor extended periods (up to 6-8 hours per day)
  • Push and pull objects up to50pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored atground level
