We are seeking to hire a Payroll & Benefits Manager to be based in New York. This position will ensure that payroll is processed accurately and on time, and that benefits are administered efficiently. The Payroll and Benefits Manager acts as a key liaison between employees, and management, providing expertise on compensation and benefits issues.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Manage the end-to-end payroll process, including data entry, processing, and distribution.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health, vision, dental, and retirement plans.
- Execute open enrollment enrollment.
- Responsible for annual 401k test.
- Coordinate with external vendors for benefits administration and payroll processing.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries regarding compensation.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports and statistics for internal and external use.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure data integrity.
- Conduct regular audits of payroll and benefits records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with HR and finance departments to align payroll and benefits strategies with organizational goals.
