  • 40 hours/week, 6 Month Assignment

A leading digital streaming network seeks a Payroll Analyst to support payroll operations within a large, multi-state environment, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, supporting payroll-related projects, and maintaining compliance with payroll regulations.

Payroll Analyst Responsibilities:
  • Process multi-frequency union and non-union payrolls, perform SAP payroll adjustments, maintain payroll schedules through data entry and updates, reconcile payroll integrations and bank files, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, wage and hour laws, and SOX requirements.
  • Audit and reconcile HR and payroll data to identify and resolve discrepancies, process employee garnishments, respond to payroll inquiries, prepare ad hoc reports, and maintain accurate payroll records while ensuring confidentiality.
  • Support payroll-related projects, including system testing for upgrades, Oracle testing initiatives, tax updates, and other special assignments while meeting established deadlines.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources, IT, and internal business partners to support payroll operations, resolve complex payroll issues, and maintain effective cross-functional relationships.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and other advanced functions, to analyze payroll data, generate reports, and support operational decision-making.

Payroll Analyst Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of payroll experience in a large company environment.
  • Experience processing payroll in multi-state environments and union and non-union payrolls.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, and Pivot Tables.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, payroll accounting, HR policies, federal, state, and local payroll regulations, wage and hour laws, and SOX compliance.
  • Experience auditing and reconciling payroll and HR data.
  • Experience processing employee garnishments.
  • Experience with SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP) or another major HCM system is preferred.
  • Experience with end-to-end processing of multi-frequency union payrolls is preferred.

Shift:
  • 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
  • Some OT may be required.
