As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements. You are expected to perform independently and become a subject matter expert. Active participation and contribution in team discussions are required, along with providing solutions to work-related problems. Expert proficiency in Core Java is required. Advanced proficiency in Configuration & Release Management, Design & Build Enablement, Build Management, and REST API Development is recommended. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for application development. - Implement best practices in software development to enhance application performance and reliability. - Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high-quality deliverables. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve application development processes. - Mentor junior developers and share knowledge to foster a collaborative learning environment. This role requires being onsite 3 days per week with the client in one of the following locations: Dallas TX, Atlanta GA, Scottsdale AZ, or Charlotte NC. Basic Qualifications: - Minimum 5 years of work experience with Java J2E along with Kafka Knowledge, and Containerization if Senior Developer - Experience with Java, JUNIT, and BDD - Bachelor or Associate Degree Preferred Qualifications: - Expert proficiency in Core Java is required.
