Job Description

As a Payments Mid-Market Account Executive within Chase Merchant Services, you will work in a remote, work-from-home role selling products and services to new customers through various channels, developing an in-depth understanding of client needs, and identifying client opportunities. You will leverage your knowledge of products and pricing to negotiate competitively, maintain sales records and reports, and collaborate with credit partners while applying sound risk management protocols to protect the firm.

Job Responsibilities

Sales & Client Development
• You will sell products and services to new customers through face-to-face, digital, and/or phone-based contact.
• You will develop an in-depth understanding of clients' current needs and future strategy.
• You will identify and self-source client opportunities, including developing a vertical market strategy to sell to clients with complex requirements (Ecommerce / Integrated POS / Multi-Location / VAR).

Solutioning & Negotiation
• You will possess deep knowledge of the company's products and pricing to facilitate sales efforts, while aligning daily activities to strategic business objectives.
• You will negotiate with clients to price products and services competitively while generating revenue, acting as a trusted advisor to recommend and promote payment processing solutions.

Risk, Credit & Reporting
• You will understand internal credit processes and advance working relationships with credit partners.
• You will maintain sales records and prepare sales reports as required.
• You will protect the firm by applying sound risk management protocols, remaining knowledgeable of compliance and risk issues, escalating to management as appropriate, and collaborating to determine solutions.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills.
• Generally at least 5 years of B2B (business-to-business) sales experience with a proven track record of self-sourcing leads, resulting in meeting revenue goals in a solution-selling environment.
• Strong tele-sales ability, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, time management, organizational, and planning skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently.
• Superior partnership skills, with the ability to work with teams across multiple functions.
• Ability to help identify innovative solutions to best serve customers and mobilize internal networks and resources.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
