JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Product Manager in Digital Banking Money Movement, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
Job responsibilities
  • Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
  • Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
  • Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
  • Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
  • Serve as product owners in agile delivery-drive refinement, spirit planning, grooming, demos, and release readiness in partnership with engineering and design
  • Translate complex client and business needs into product briefs that clearly articulate scope, requirements, dependencies, risks/controls, and success metrics
  • Drive cross-functional execution across engineering, architecture, UX, data, operations, and risk/compliance to deliver scalable and secure solutions across channels and workflows
  • Drive end-to-end initiatives across payments capabilities such as initiation, approvals, entitlements, tracking/status, onboarding reconciliation, and reporting
  • Build and track success metrics (adoption, conversion, STP rates, reliability/latency, control health, client issues) and use insights to iterate
  • Ensure product designs meet regulatory, risk, compliance, auditability, data governance, and resiliency expectations; proactively manage issues, remediation plans, and stakeholder escalations
  • Drive release readiness, stakeholder alignment, materials for leadership updates, and enablement/training for coverage, service, and implementation teams
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Hands on experience launching or materially contributed to 1-2 payments products/capabilities (ACH, Wires, Zelle, SEPA, BACS, Canadian payments, or adjacent money movement features)
  • Strong understanding of corporate payments flows and operating considerations (approvals, entitlements, cutoffs, tracking/status, exceptions reconciliation)
  • Ability to deliver complex initiatives with multiple dependencies across technology, operations, implementation, and risk/control partners
  • Ability to influence across senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Strong working knowledge of agile practices and tooling (e.g. backlog management, story writing, sprint execution, and iterative delivery)
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
  • Corporate Banking/Treasury experience supporting complex corporate users and multi-approver workflows
  • Exposure to regional/international rails and payment lifecycle visibility features
