Job Description
The MUOS SLE program is looking for a Payload Deputy for the Payload Integrated Products Team. In this role, the candidate will oversee the Digital Signal Processing team as well as our Payload Antenna team ensuring these Payload products are made efficiently, safely, meet stringent quality standards, and stay on schedule. This position will bridge the gap between upper management and the engineering teams by overseeing budgets, optimizing workflows, and managing personnel. The candidate will also perform delegation activities for the Payload IPT lead.
Position is contingent upon contract award anticipated July 2026.
This position requires eligibility and willingness to obtain a Top Secret security clearance. Must be a US citizen.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering/technical discipline and 8+ years of proven, hands-on supervisory experience in an engineering and production setting
• RF products background with familiarity in Spacecraft Architecture and Communications Subsystems
• Experience guiding the successful completion of significant projects and/or multi-discipline team efforts
• Experience managing project budgets, analyzing cost variances, and monitoring key performance indicators
• Strong team-building and conflict-resolution skills
• Ability to communicate across organizational levels and functionalities
• Eligibility and willingness to obtain a Top Secret security clearance - US citizenship.
Desired skills
• Experience with LM2100 Spacecraft Bus RF Products
• Expertise with one or more of the following: Digital Signal Processing and Hardware, Antenna Products
• Experience with part procurement, qualification, and traceability issues
• Experience working closely with subcontractors and subcontract management
• Experience participating in major program milestone reviews such as PDR, CDR, etc.
• Project Management Experience
• Control Account Management (CAM) experience within the last 5 years
• Thorough understanding of program, functional, and process metrics including Earned Value Management (EVM)
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $134,000 - $236,325. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $154,100 - $267,145. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
