What Is The Opportunity?Calgary Construction Operations is hiring a
Paving Foreman to support our Paving Division in
Calgary, Alberta for the 2026 Season.
What You'll Do Here:- Ensure the asphalt mix is placed to the correct grade and thickness
- Inspect the prepared area before paving
- Coordinate with trucks delivering asphalt to the paver
- Inspect paved surfaces for quality and smoothness
- Responsible for inputting time daily.
- Responsible for managing all daily construction activities on the site(s).
- Overseeing crews on large scale asphalt paving projects.
- Plan, schedule, organize, direct and control construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications, and budget.
- Working and communicating with Superintendents and Project Managers/Coordinators.
What You Bring to the Team:- 3+ years' experience as a Asphalt Paving Foreman.
- Ability to communicate with supervisors, co-workers, in a courteous, professional manner at all times.
- Maintains a valid Class 5 driver's license or better.
- Willing to work overtime, nightshift and weekends, as required.
- Must comply with the company's drug & alcohol program, including testing requirement.
- Other duties as assigned.
Pay and Benefits:Pay Range: $39 - $44 per hour
Individual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions. Other considerations may include certifications, specialized training, and the complexity or scope of the role.
