We are seeking an analytical, collaborative, and results-driven
Patient Access Enablement Lead to join our U.S.-based Rare Disease team. This hybrid role is based at UCB's offices in Smyrna, Georgia, in the Atlanta area.
About the Role Are you passionate about using data to improve patient access and help patients start therapy sooner? As the Patient Access Enablement Lead, you will partner across multiple functions to identify barriers throughout the patient journey and transform complex data into actionable insights that drive measurable improvements. You will play a key role in optimizing patient access, referral-to-start conversion, and operational performance across a growing rare disease portfolio.
Who You'll Work With You will collaborate closely with Patient Services, Field Reimbursement, Market Access, Commercial Operations, Sales Leadership, and other cross-functional stakeholders. Together, you will identify opportunities, align on solutions, and implement strategies that improve the overall patient experience and access journey.
What You'll Do - Analyze patient access and operational data to identify performance opportunities.
- Uncover barriers impacting therapy initiation and referral conversion.
- Develop dashboards, key performance indicators, and reporting solutions.
- Generate actionable insights to support business decisions and execution.
- Facilitate cross-functional discussions focused on patient access improvement.
- Recommend scalable processes and operational best practices.
Interested? For This Role We're Looking For Minimum Requirements - Bachelor's degree.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry.
- A minimum of 2 years of rare diseases, in your area/scope of work.
Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in business, Healthcare, Life Sciences, or related field
- Advanced degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience analyzing complex healthcare data and developing actionable insights.
- Knowledge of patient access, reimbursement, and payer landscapes.
- Experience supporting patient services or reimbursement operations.
- Experience working with Market Access or Commercial Operations teams.
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance, privacy, and data governance.
- Experience developing executive-level reporting and performance dashboards.
- Understanding of infusion networks or site-of-care strategies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams
