Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage all parts department operations from pre-opening through launch.
  • Develop and maintain optimal inventory levels to support service department needs while managing carrying costs.
  • Build strong relationships with Mercedes-Benz parts distribution network and secondary suppliers.
  • Manage parts ordering, receiving, storage, and return processes with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support wholesale parts opportunities with commercial fleet and B2B clients in the market.
  • Collaborate daily with the Service Manager and technicians to ensure parts availability minimizes repair cycle time.
  • Monitor parts department financial performance including gross profit, inventory turns, and obsolescence.

Behind every great service operation is a parts department that runs like clockwork. As our founding Parts Manager, you'll build the systems, supplier relationships, and inventory strategies that power our service team and keep our clients' vehicles on the road.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced parts professional who wants to make their mark at a brand-new Mercedes-Benz facility.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Establish and manage all parts department operations from pre-opening through launch and ongoing
• Develop and maintain optimal inventory levels to support service department needs while managing carrying costs
• Build strong relationships with Mercedes-Benz parts distribution network and secondary suppliers
• Manage parts ordering, receiving, storage, and return processes with accuracy and efficiency
• Support wholesale parts opportunities with commercial fleet and B2B clients in our market
• Collaborate daily with the Service Manager and technicians to ensure parts availability minimizes repair cycle time
• Monitor parts department financial performance including gross profit, inventory turns, and obsolescence
• Ensure compliance with Mercedes-Benz parts standards, programs, and reporting requirements
• Lead, train, and develop the parts team as the department grows

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• 3+ years of automotive parts management experience, dealership experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Mercedes-Benz or European vehicle parts a significant advantage
• Strong inventory management skills and analytical mindset
• Experience with Dealer Management Systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar)
• Wholesale parts experience or interest in developing wholesale business a plus
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
• Valid driver's license with clean record
