Description ABOUT THIS ROLE Within the Xe Platform team, the Partner Marketing role is a recently formed position that develops and maintains the strategy and execution of marketing across our suite of Platform Partners. This role sits within the Xe Platform Marketing team supporting Xe's embedded finance and payments business.
The Partner Marketing Manager owns partner-facing side of the Platform go-to-market: enabling platform partners to position, promote, and refer Xe to their prospects and clients. Our partners work within leading ERP ecosystems or integrate Xe capability directly into their own systems to offer enhanced payment features to their client base. This role drives activation with new partners and continued engagement with existing partners.
You will own the marketing strategy and execution for turning partnerships into active revenue and awareness channels and work closely with Sales Directors globally. You will build this program from its early-stage proof of concept to become a repeatable partner marketing engine.

Key Responsibilities Partner Engagement Plan Design and own a full Partner Engagement Plan that becomes the operating framework for the function, including:
- Partner segmentation: segment/tier our partner portfolio by partner type, activity status (active/new vs. dormant/signed-but-inactive), and by revenue/referral potential
- Engagement cadence: determine a recurring cadence by segment/tier prioritizing high potential partners
- Sales Enablement: develop a partner pack to give our partners what they need to successfully position Xe to their clients (pitch decks, demos, co-branded assets, etc.)
- Co-marketing calendar: develop a co-marketing calendar with high-value partners including webinars, case studies, white papers, conference presence in collaboration with Sales Directors in each region
Partner Enablement & Growth - Equip partners' sales and implementation teams to position Xe accurately and confidently to their prospects and clients
- Build and maintain sales enablement materials: one-pagers, battlecards, competitive positioning, value proposition
- Build activation kits and onboarding marketing sequences for newly signed partners so they start promoting Xe quickly
- Identify and prioritize dormant, already-signed partners; build and run reactivation campaigns to convert them into active referral sources
- Ensure Xe is properly and consistently represented on partner websites, portals, and marketplaces
- Develop and execute joint marketing programs with key partners including case studies, white papers, joint webinars, co-branded collateral, or event sponsorship
- Secure and manage positioning/placement of Xe within partner marketing channels (partner sites, newsletters, partner-led events)
- Represent Xe in partner-hosted or joint industry events as needed
- Work closely with the Product Marketer to ensure partner-facing messaging stays aligned with core product positioning
- Coordinate with the Events/Ops Marketer on partner presence at conferences and shared marketing operations
- Partner with Sales to localize initiatives by region
KPIs / Success Metrics - Referral leads generated through partner channels (volume and quality/conversion)
- Market and ecosystem awareness (e.g., partner site placements, joint content reach, partner-sourced pipeline)
- Partner activation rate based on leads referred to Xe
Qualifications - 5+ years in partner marketing, channel marketing, or alliance marketing - ideally at a B2B SaaS/fintech/payments company with an ISV, embedded, or platform partnership model
- Track record building sales enablement and co-marketing programs with technology or ecosystem partners
- Ideally located in Denver or Orange County
- Experience working with complex products or solutions targeting large enterprise customers
- Track record of problem-solving and building new programs
- Hands-on approach and a test and learn growth mindset, a self-starter that aims for continuous improvement
- Understanding of the software and fintech landscape including partner integration models (APIs, embedded solutions)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills are required
- Results-driven with strong attention to detail to track initiatives, projects, and deliverables
