Full Job Description
THE OPPORTUNITY

Certinia's partner ecosystem - systems integrators and strategic alliances with Salesforce and AWS - is one of our most important growth engines, already sourcing a meaningful share of company bookings. We're hiring a Partner Marketing Director to build and run the marketing function at the center of that ecosystem: the brand and content that represent our partner program, and the co-marketing engine that helps partners generate pipeline alongside us.

This is a high-visibility, hands-on role for someone who can operate at both altitudes: setting the strategy for how Certinia shows up to partners, and personally writing the copy, building the deck, or launching the campaign that brings it to life. You'll work daily with Alliance Managers, Partner Account Managers, Enablement, Events, Product Marketing, Marketing Communications, and Growth Marketing with a direct line to partner and alliance leadership.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

Partner Program Brand & Enablement Content

You'll define how Certinia's partner program looks, sounds, and tells its story - to partners and prospective partners alike.

  • Establish and own the brand identity for the Certinia Partner Program, including giving it a name for the first time
  • Maintain the Partner Program Guide and the "Why Partner with Certinia" pitch deck
  • Own "Better Together" first-call decks and ongoing updates for Salesforce, AWS, and private equity partners

Partner Events & Communications

You'll run the full calendar of programming and content built specifically for partners.

  • Own event marketing for partner-facing programs such as the RKO Partner Track and EMEA Partner Day - copy, registration, logistics, and agenda planning with leadership
  • Manage partner sponsorships at flagship events, including Certinia Live and Dreamforce
  • Produce a recurring "to-partner" webinar series with Enablement, owning copy, registration, and logistics while Enablement owns content
  • Help stand up and run Certinia's first Partner Advisory Board as partner-sourced bookings continue to grow
  • Own the monthly partner newsletter, Partner Hub content, the partner directory and pages on certinia.com, and the primary Slack channel for partner-wide announcements
  • Manage submission of partner win stories through Salesforce's and AWS's formal partner recognition programs

Partner & Alliance Co-Marketing (Demand Generation)

You'll build the programs that turn partner relationships into pipeline.

  • Author and maintain a self-service Partner Marketing Playbook and campaign kits for SI Growth and Select partners
  • Run a Slack-based self-service co-marketing channel for partners without dedicated marketing support
  • Own high-touch co-marketing for Certinia's Premier SI partners - planning sessions, event support, co-branded collateral, and joint business planning alongside Partner Account Managers
  • Own the marketing side of the Salesforce alliance - partnering with Alliance Managers across regions on the Joint Business Plan, co-marketing activations, and presence at events like TDX, Dreamforce, and World Tours
  • Own AWS alliance marketing, including asset creation and full utilization of MDF and partner incentive programs
  • Support private equity partner marketing through close collaboration with regional Field Marketing

Cross-Functional Partner Marketing Operations

You'll be the connective tissue between partner marketing and the rest of the business.

  • Coordinate partner-specific sales plays (emails, decks, one-pagers) with Partner Ops and Partner leadership
  • Manage the partner press release process with Marketing Communications and Partner/Alliance leadership
  • Own partner-facing content on certinia.com in partnership with Web and Product Marketing
  • Help evaluate and potentially build a future Partner Marketplace, supporting both ISV go-to-market and customer discovery of partner solutions

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • 8+ years in partner, alliance, or channel marketing at a B2B SaaS or enterprise technology company, with experience owning relationships in a hyperscaler or platform ecosystem (Salesforce, AWS, Microsoft, or similar) strongly preferred
  • Track record running co-marketing programs with systems integrator or reseller partners, including MDF- or incentive-funded campaigns
  • Proven ability to plan and execute partner-facing events end to end - copy, registration, logistics, and on-site experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with comfort owning copy and creative from concept through production
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator, able to align Alliance Managers, Enablement, Events, Product Marketing, and Marketing Communications around shared programs
  • A builder's mindset - as comfortable establishing something that doesn't exist yet (a program brand, an advisory board, a marketplace strategy) as running something established
  • Familiarity with PRM platforms (e.g., Impartner, Salesforce Partner Community) and core partner metrics such as sourced and influenced ARR
  • Highly organized self-starter who can manage a high volume of concurrent workstreams and stakeholders without losing quality or momentum
  • Salesforce ecosystem experience a strong plus
