Description

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced Partner Engagement Manager as we continue to scale our partner ecosystem in the solar industry. The Partner Engagement Manager serves as both a quality leader and trusted advisor, helping Partner Installers improve submission quality, increase first pass yield, and navigate EnFin TPO requirements with confidence.

This individual will work directly with partner leadership teams, installers, operations managers, and quality personnel to drive operational excellence through coaching, training, and proactive engagement. Success in this role requires a unique combination of residential solar expertise, strong business acumen, technical communication skills, and relationship management experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Partner Communication & Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for 5-10 assigned Partner Installers.


  • Facilitate regular performance reviews, joint problem-solving sessions, and feedback loops to align expectations, resolve issues swiftly, and co-develop solutions that enhance collaboration and mutual success.


  • Serve as a subject matter expert on EnFin TPO submission requirements, installation standards, and milestone review processes.


  • Conduct tra ining sessions and coaching engagements with dealer and installer partners to improve submission quality and reduce preventable rejections.


Technical Partner Coaching & Enablement

  • Tra nslate complex technical requirements into clear, actionable guidance for partner teams with varying levels of solar experience.


  • Support partner leadership teams in identifying root causes of recurring quality issues and implementing corrective action plans.


  • Develop and maintain partner-facing educational materials, process guides, and best practice documentation.


Throughput Improvement Initiatives

  • Identify bottlenecks in the end-to-end solar project delivery process (procurement 12 logistics 12 installation 12 commissioning).


  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to increase throughput metrics-such as installations per week, megawatts deployed per quarter, or cycle time reductions-through process re-engineering, tool implementation, training programs, and performance incentives for assigned partners.


Milestone Review & Quality Operations

  • Collaborate with internal QA, Operations, and Product teams to communicate evolving requirements and ensure consistent interpretation across the partner network.


  • Perform milestone reviews during periods of increased volume, partner escalations, or other business needs while maintaining established quality and service-level standards.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor9s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.


  • Deep understanding of solar industry standards, photovoltaic systems, supply chain dynamics, and installation best practices.


  • 7+ years of residential solar experience in operations, quality assurance, installation management, project management, technical support, or partner-facing roles.


  • Proven track record improving throughput or process efficiency in complex supply chains or field deployment environments (e.g., solar installations, EPC projects).


  • Background working with international vendors or global supply chains for solar components.


  • Ability to travel is up to 10% based on business needs.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10+ years of residential solar experience.


  • Experience supporting dealer networks, EPC partners, or contractor relationships within the residential solar industry.


  • Experience with TPO, lease, or solar financing products.


  • Previous experience leading partner training, quality improvement initiatives, or operational excellence programs.


  • Familiarity with Sales Force is strongly preferred


COMPENSATION:

In accordance with applicable pay transparency laws, the anticipated annual base salary for this position is:

  • Zone 1 (Bay Area, NYC): $135,400 - $148,900


  • Zone 2 (CA, NJ, NY): $124,100 - $136,500


  • Zone 3 (All Others): $112,800 - $124,100

The salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of those candidates hired nationwide. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to, skill set, education, licenses and certifications, essential job duties and requirements, and the necessary experience relative to the job9s minimum qualifications.
