Full Job Description
Under general direction and supervision, reporting to the Senior Analyst, and ultimately the Director, of the Partner Tax and Accounting Department, this position is responsible for providing significant assistance and analysis with regard to all partner accounting related reporting functions including but not limited to the following: administration and reporting of the partner capital loan program, document generation related to the on and off boarding of partners, preparation of year-end partner allocation information, partner account analysis, ad hoc tax projects, partner income and employment verifications and any other requests as they may arise through the normal course.

This position will reside in our Philadelphia office and offers a hybrid in-office/remote working schedule.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Reconcile partner draw accounts, partner payments, preferred distributions, contributed capital, and other partner equity accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Analyze quarterly loan interest reports from the lender for compliance with the terms of the program and verification for payment.
  • Prepare capital loan pay off, return of capital and final allocation wires when necessary.
  • Monitor and track partner contributed capital on a daily, monthly, and annual basis.
  • Prepare, on a quarterly basis, all partner preferred distributions due to partners.
  • Prepare lateral partner draw schedules for distribution during the offer letter process.
  • Utilize Alteryx application to create, generate and distribute all annual partner draw schedules with estimated retirement plan contributions, taxes and final allocation payments.
  • Obtain and create the necessary schedules and documents in association with a partner's withdrawal from the partnership.
  • Assist with the compilation of the annual year end partner allocation package delivered directly to partners.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports responsive to information requests as needed.
  • Participate in the annual Firm audit with respect to providing account reconciliations along with substantive supporting documentation.


Experience and qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (preferred) or Finance from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of one year of accounting, finance, or related professional experience.
  • General knowledge of partnership accounting principles.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and draw sound conclusions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with employees, partners, clients, and vendors.
