Manager, Partner Affairs

About Partner Affairs
Partner Affairs enables the firm's partnership to perform at its highest level by designing and executing the strategies, governance, programs, and experiences that support Partners throughout the entire partner lifecycle. Partner Affairs serves as the operational and strategic hub connecting the Board, Executive Leadership, Business Units, and corporate functions to ensure a high-performing, engaged, and future-ready partnership.

Position Summary

This role serves as a strategic and operational position within Partner Affairs, independently managing significant portions of the Partner Affairs portfolio while working closely with the Director of Partner Affairs. The position combines strategy, governance, operations, finance, executive communications, and cross-functional leadership to optimize Partner performance, engagement, and firm growth.

Key Responsibilities

Partner Strategy & Lifecycle

  • Manage execution and continuous improvement of Partner lifecycle programs from nomination through retirement.
  • Coordinate cross-functional execution across HR, Finance, Legal, Tax, Corporate Development, IT, and Business Units.
  • Support Partner nomination, onboarding, performance management, income allocation, succession planning, education, engagement, and retirement processes.
  • Analyze trends and recommend enhancements to Partner experience and operational effectiveness.

Governance & Executive Support

  • Support governance processes for the Board of Directors and Board Committees.
  • Coordinate Board elections, Partnership voting matters, governance documentation, and recurring governance calendars.
  • Prepare executive analyses, presentations, and decision materials for the Board, Board Committees, and Executive Leadership.
  • Ensure governance activities are executed with accuracy, discretion, and confidentiality.

Strategic Initiatives

  • Manage complex cross-functional projects that advance the firm's partnership strategy.
  • Develop business cases, research, benchmarking, and recommendations for new Partner programs and policies.
  • Support growth initiatives in partnership with Corporate Development and executive leadership.

Communications & Engagement

  • Assist in development and coordination of Partner communications and Partner Portal content.
  • Support planning and execution of the Annual Partner Meeting.
  • Develop executive presentations for Boards, Management Committees, Business Unit leadership, and firmwide audiences.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Develop dashboards, metrics, and reporting to support executive decision-making.
  • Analyze Partner demographic, financial, compensation, and engagement data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor Partner compensation relative to the firm's approved budget and financial performance, providing analyses and recommendations throughout the year.
  • Lead the year-end Partner compensation true-up process by analyzing firm financial results, calculating compensation adjustments, and preparing executive and Board reporting to support final compensation decisions.
  • Develop financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses to support Partner Affairs initiatives and executive decision-making.

At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $79,500.00 - $168,700.00 per year.
