À quoi ressemblera votre quotidien ?
  • Collaborer, coacher et conseiller les gestionnaires et les partenaires Rh sur l'interprétation et l'application et le renouvellement de la convention collective, des contrats des employés et de la législation canadienne du travail.
  • Recommander les mesures appropriées dans la résolution de problèmes complexes afin d'assurer un environnement de travail sain et productif et des relations de travail axée sur la collaboration.
  • Participer à l'élaboration et la mise en œuvre de programmes, de divers projets, de politiques et des procédures en matière de relations avec les employés, conformément aux lois et règlements pertinents en matière d'emploi applicable dans les provinces concernées.
  • Analyser les tendances en matière de relations avec les employés, recommander et développer des stratégies, formations, des solutions, des programmes et des politiques innovantes.
  • Supporter le directeur partenaire rh - relations avec les employés sur différents enjeux au sein de nos installations situées au Canada
  • Concevoir des plans de communication et de gestion de changement en partenariat avec les autres membres de l'équipe rh et les gestionnaires d'unités d'affaires
  • Gérer des dossiers de litige avec le support des avocats en droit du travail
  • Enquêter, au besoin, sur les dossiers de plaintes, dont certains en collaboration avec l'officier Éthique et Conformité


Qu'est-ce qu'il vous faut pour réussir?

Incontournables
  • Diplôme universitaire en gestion des ressources humaines ou en relations industrielles et minimum de 10 ans d'expérience
  • Au moins 5 ans d'expérience dans le secteur des relations de travail
  • Expérience dans l'interprétation et de l'application des conventions collectives ainsi que la présentation de litiges devant les tribunaux administratifs
  • Expérience de la gestion d'un processus de règlement des griefs, notamment de la préparation du matériel nécessaire à l'arbitrage
  • Expérience dans la gestion de projets et la conception de formations

Job Title: HR Employee Partner and Labour Relations

This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday with flexible hours, based in Longueuil, and performed exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like?
  • Collaborate, coach, and advise management and HR partners on the interpretation, application, and renewal of the collective agreement, various projects, employee contracts and Canadian labour legislation.
  • Recommend appropriate actions in resolving complex issues to ensure a healthy and productive work environment and collaborative working relationships.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of employee relations programs, policies, trainings, and procedures in accordance with the relevant employment legislation and regulations applicable in the relevant provinces.
  • Analyze employee relations trends, recommend, and develop innovative strategies, solutions, programs, and policies.
  • Support the Director of Employee Relations on various issues within our Canadian facilities.
  • Develop communication and change management plans in partnership with other members of the HR team and business unit managers.
  • Manage litigation cases with the support of labour and employment lawyers.
  • Investigate complaints, as needed, some of which will be conducted in partnership with the Ethics & Compliance Officer.


What do you need to be successful?

  • University degree in Human Resources Management or Industrial Relations and a minimum of 10 years experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in the labour relations field.
  • Experience interpreting and applying collective agreements, as well as presenting disputes before administrative tribunals.
  • Experience in managing a grievance process, including the preparation of materials for arbitration
  • Experience in project management and designing and building trainings
  • Excellent analytical and synthesis skills
