The Global Finance Paralegal manages all aspects of large-scale financial transactions and will assist with research and document management. The position requires overtime.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Support lawyers in the Global Finance Group on commercial loans, securitizations and other corporate finance transactions;
- Draft and arrange for the recordation of U.C.C. financing statements and fixture filings and exhibits;
- Research Article 9 & U.C.C. issues;
- Obtain, review and analyze lien search reports and prepare lien summaries;
- Obtain incorporation/formation documents and prepare initial drafts of ancillary closing documents;
- Review, summarize and organize due diligence materials;
- Conduct, monitor or coordinate a closing and all post-closing activities;
- Review closing documents for completeness and compliance;
- Prepare and distribute closing books;
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the lawyers or paralegal manager
Education and/or Experience:Required:- BA/BS with strong academic credentials
- Minimum 10+ years' experience at a medium or large law firm in banking or financial transactions
- U.C.C. experience and demonstrated proficiency
Preferred:- Paralegal Certificate from an ABA accredited program
- Proficient in DocuSign
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with clients, partners, associates, paralegals and all staff members.

The target salary range for this role is:
$92,400 - $120,000 if located in Illinois
