Qualifications- BSN required
- Pain Management Certification preferred
- Procedural/Pain Management experience preferred
- Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure required
- BLS for Healthcare Providers required
- 3-5 years Med/Surg with Telemetry experience required
- Excellent patient assessment skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Show evidence of the basic analytic thinking necessary to care for a group of patients
- Ability to demonstrate observational skills and the ability to set priorities
- Ability to adhere to all I.C.A.R.E. standards
Additional Job Details (if applicable)- Providing longitudinal care for patients in the Pain Management Center Faulkner Campus
- Working in a busy procedural setting providing care to pain management clinic patients. This includes teaching and care for initial, follow-up, and procedure patients (including fluoroscopy), management of intrathecal therapy, and responding to patients' requests/inquiries
- Working collaboratively to provide excellent care to patients and families in the safest environment.
- Triages all urgent calls, manages patient messages/calls. Sets priorities when organizing care based upon the acuity. Is aware of clinic flow and re-arranges provider schedules to accommodate the urgent care needs.
