Description

The PACS Administrator would be reporting to the Director of IT and would be responsible for assisting with implementing, monitoring, and maintaining day-to-day operations of the various IT systems, including Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), Radiology Information System (RIS), Radiology Voice Recognition Dictation System, Vendor Neutral Archive and any other systems to be used in the practice.

Will only consider on-site work, no remote option.

Requirements

  • Provide maintenance of users and user profiles.
  • Monitor integrations and a list of study-related items between the various IT systems.
  • Assist in the day-to-day technical administration of the PACS, RIS, Radiology Voice Recognition Dictation System, VNA and all other IT systems used in the day to day activities of the imaging centers.
  • Diagnose, analyze, and troubleshoot technical issues and to resolve problems.
  • Provide system training as required.
  • Act as a liaison between IA and the Radiologist group, customer users, and vendors.
  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
  • Marketing of EMR Integration and VNA platforms.
  • Full responsibility for implementation of EMR and VNA integrations.
  • Perform emergency duty before, during and/or beyond normal work hours in the event of an emergency, crisis situation or disaster (man-made or natural) which may include evenings, weekends or holidays.
  • Take night and weekend call on a rotating schedule.
  • Ability to travel to our three sites located in Anchorage, Eagle River, and Palmer
