Job Requirements

Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Board-Certified Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery team in a dynamic, high-acuity environment at our Level I Trauma Center in Spartanburg, South Carolina. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled team, gaining exposure to a wide range of complex orthopedic trauma cases while enjoying strong clinical support and a collaborative culture. New grads will be considered.

Position Highlights:
  • Monday - Friday; minimum 45-50 hours a week
  • Call 4-5x a month; 12 weekends a year
  • 50% OR, 25% Rounding, 25% Clinic
  • Established team of 4 APPs
  • Candidate must demonstrate strong teamwork and flexibility due to the demands of the position
  • Manage and assist with all types of fractures and orthopedic trauma cases
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons on inpatient care and surgical cases
  • Fast-paced, team-oriented environment with strong support
  • ATLS required and can be obtained after start
