Full Job Description
**Schedule** Wednesday - Saturday, 10 hour shifts from 6:00 PM - 4:30 AM Key job responsibilities Please note that specific responsibilities may vary by position and location. The following list represents potential duties that may be required: • Maintain comprehensive customer profiles including current and past medical history, clinical and laboratory data, and concurrent medications (including over-the-counter and home remedies) • Evaluate physician medication orders for appropriateness of drug, dosage, potential interactions, and route of administration. Make recommendations for therapy changes to the prescriber as appropriate • Operate and Troubleshoot Pharmacy Automation Systems • Utilize, monitor, and troubleshoot automated dispensing and fulfillment systems to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely preparation of prescription orders • Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and engineering teams to resolve automation issues, optimize workflows, and maintain compliance with quality and safety standards • Dispense Controlled Substances and Maintain Regulatory Compliance • Accurately dispense controlled substances in accordance with DEA regulations and state-specific laws • Maintain thorough, timely, and auditable records of all controlled substance transactions, including inventory management, reconciliation, and reporting requirements • Provide Clinical Support: • Answer clinical questions and provide guidance • Collaborate with healthcare team members • Document all healthcare team communications • Investigate and resolve medication errors • Additional Responsibilities: • Implement policies and procedures in accordance with state and federal laws • Maintain required regulatory documentation • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives • Support pharmacy operations across departments as needed • Physical requirements may include ability to perform warehouse work and lift at least 20 pounds About the team **BASIC QUALIFICATIONS** - Bachelor's degree in Science, or Doctor of Pharmacy in PharmD, or Doctor of Pharmacy - Knowledge of pharmacy laws and federal/state regulations concerning patient care - Knowledge of Knowledge of Windows desktop environment and use of Word, Excel, IE, Firefox etc - Can have an active and unrestricted pharmacist license in your state of employment (additional licenses may be required) - Experience in oral and written communication **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** - Understanding of pharmacy laws and federal/state regulations - Ability to manage high call volume while maintaining quality customer service The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
