Overhead Crane TechnicianMMI is looking to hire a crane technician who has the following qualifications. - 3-5 years' experience as an overhead crane technician
- A minimum of 2-year hands-on electro-mechanical maintenance and/or equivalent military experience
- Must have 480VAC 3 phase experience
- Knowledge with electrical controls and VFDs
- Aptitude for both electrical and mechanical environments as well as familiarity with mechanical and electrical equipment
- Forklift experience
- Aerial lift experience
- Ability to work heights
- The crane technician must possess excellent communication and writing skills
- Must have a valid state issued driver's license
Pay range: $38.00 - $48.00 per hour depending on experienceWe also offer the following benefits:- Health insurance, Dental, Vision, Life

Responsibilities:- Inspecting equipment to ensure it is in good working order
- Performing regular maintenance and inspections of cranes, hoists, and other lifting equipment
- Installing new cranes and other lifting equipment, wiring and troubleshooting
- Review records of work performed on equipment to track service history and detect any potential problems before they occur
- Inspecting crane components for signs of wear or damage in order to identify possible causes of accidents
- Performing routine maintenance on cranes and replacing parts as needed
Crane technician must be physically able to:- Lift and carry objects weighing more than 50 lbs.
- Stoop, kneel, crawl, lay, bend, squat for long periods of time
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
